OUR MINISTRY B E D R O C K

Bedrock is a refuge for leaders, ministers, pastors, and families seeking significant inner healing and restoration for their lives.

Simultaneously, we aim to use our tooling, stories, experiences, and education to equip other leaders who desire to bring healing and consolation to more people.
We work with trauma, abuse, familial conflicts, and dysfunction, and we walk alongside these wounded people through their healing path and process.

We plan to establish our base of operation here in Utah, to be salt and light in this community, and at the same time be a shelter for broken people from any part of the world.

We are already helping needy people and equipping other leaders in several countries. With skills and gifts the Lord has graciously granted us, we are seeing people's lives transformed through one-to-one mentoring, counseling, healing groups, and trainings.

Get to Know Us
We are pleased to share our journey in Utah. After a thorough process, felt led to the USA for training to enhance our ability to assist those in need. This remarkable state has become our unexpected home, inspiring us to focus on community restoration and healing, while promoting the message of Christ. In the midst of our journey here, the Lord redirect us and call us to serve Him in this community. Our aim is to establish our Bedrock Ministry base here, enabling us to serve this region while continuing our global outreach efforts.
The Bedrock project was born out of our own struggles, wounds, and pain after having gone through our darkest night, individually, and as a family. Ten years ago, while we were living in Denmark, we went through the most painful moment we’ve ever experienced as a couple. Our past, dysfunctions, wounds, and all the baggage we were carrying from our childhoods became graver than ever before. The situation had a considerable impact on our family, to the point of breaking our marriage into pieces.

Building up our family again was not a fast, nor an easy process. It has been a long journey of several years of restoration, hard work on our individual healing, and as a family. It has been a journey of faith, of trusting the Lord, and of daily determining to walk with him to where he was leading us. Amid our turbulence, we found ourselves utterly alone without knowing where to search for the help we desperately needed.
As leaders, we needed a place to run to without being judged, rejected, or hurt even more. After a long time of loneliness, desperation, and pain, the Lord opened doors for us, little by little. He put people on our path to walk alongside us, to help us heal and grow through tooling that brought needed healing to our hearts, minds, and ultimately, to our family. From the center of all this chaos, yet from the deepest place of our hearts, Bedrock was born, with the calling and desire to help other families, pastors, leaders, and missionaries, who like us in the past, are struggling to know where to turn; families with the sincere desire to heal, create unity and experience a safe space within their homes.
Bedrock is for broken women and men who wish to be more like Christ, to be his mirror as leaders, as husbands and wives, and as parents searching for being the best version of themselves, and who God indeed created them to be.
The Bedrock Family
The Bedrock family officially started on July 7, 2007, when Eduardo and Sara got married. After some time in Spain, the Lord took them to Denmark, where their children were born.
Sara was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She grew up in a Christian family, but full of dysfunctions. From childhood onward, her home was significantly broken by her father's schizophrenic disorder. After a childhood overwhelmed by abuse mixed with distorted spirituality, Sara was deeply affected by the loss of her best friend, who she regarded as a sister. Her trusted friend protected her within the context of such a toxic environment and kept her from making bad decisions. After that loss, at the age of 17, Sara made a promise that if she was to continue to live, it would only be for the sole purpose of serving God and helping others. At the age of 18, she went to Mexico for a period of theological education and work at an orphanage. And worked in Ministry since then.
Eduardo was born and raised in Bogota (Colombia), He always wanted to explore the world beyond his immediate borders. Right before leaving Colombia at the age of 18 to complete his undergraduate studies of business in Spain, a classmate shared about Jesus while working on a project. That experience radically changed his life and enabled him to venture into unknown territories, both personally as well as geographically.
After various trials and intense prayer, and through a series of incredible events, God confirmed he had taken the right step by accepting Jesus as his savior. After a lot of skepticism and doubt, Eduardo's mother and sisters came to faith in Christ as their savior. Also, the classmate who had originally shared the Gospel with him, was completely healed by the Lord of leukemia.
Gia was born in Denmark, is the smallest of the clan. She is nine, and her personality is exceptionally charming. She is delightful, and her tender heart is filled with a passion for knowing God. Sometimes she suddenly surprises us with phrases such as “I really miss God, I want to see him here and now.” Her name, Gia, is of Hebrew origin, which means“ God is good.” For us, and without any doubt, she was a sign of God’s abounding goodness. Gia's personality is captivating, and the unique aroma of God that emanates from her presence.

Mael was born in Denmark, our first-born. He is twelve and is literally a miracle. After three miscarriages in a row, God gifted us with this boy who has a huge and precious heart. He has always been exceptional. When our son speaks about the spiritual world and God, his reflections are unusually profound and never ceases to surprise us and capture our attention day after day. He makes an impression on others regardless of their age, culture, or even those with special needs. His relational skills are simply out of this world! His way of loving and serve others impacts all those who surround him, and his generosity is limitless.
